Prospective Graduate Students
Our goal is to provide graduate students with research experience and mentorship that will allow them to be highly competitive for doctoral programs and the job market. Additionally, students in our lab have the opportunity to complete the Verified Course Sequence required to sit for the BCBA exam, if desired.
Students will have opportunities to publish their research in peer-reviewed journals and present their work at local, regional, and national conferences. Teaching and Research Assistantships are also available to provide funding and professional development.
Graduate students in our labs can complete an experimental Master's Thesis or Project in fulfillment of the Master's in Psychology degree. Check out the Research Projects tab to learn more about specific laboratory opportunities available for these projects.
We encourage all interested graduate students to email Dr. Cory Toegel at ctoegel@nmu.edu or Dr. Forrest Toegel at ftoegel@nmu.edu to set up a meeting to discuss the program and shared interests and/or to indicate interest in working with us on their personal statement.
